Eulogy to myself
Eulogy to Jasmine
To all the family members and friends. We have come together today say goodbye to our dear beloved friend Ms Jasmine Shrimpton. To this day we all will remember her love and passion she has shown to all. Jasmine had lived an amazing life even though it was rather short. Jasmine was a good friend; she was the kind of friend that stands by you when you need somebody to be there for you.
Her death certificate says she died of a natural cause. We all learn what death is in our lives. We see how fragile life is, one day things are fine, the next our world has changed. We don’t know what day the Lord will take us home, and what things we will leave unfinished.
When she was younger she would always play sports with no shoes on. It was very hard to get her shoes on with out a big fight. Jasmine has a large passion for sport. Jasmine has always enjoyed athletics from an early age. The concepts that she has been in all sports at school have always come easily to her interest. Her strongest passion in sports is volleyball throughout her school years, she has have constantly played a sport. I believe that if she was here with use today she could cave been a very good sports player. I remember some really good times I had with my sister when she was younger when we had just adopted her she would always call me mom when she did not no the differences between mom and sister. When ever we came to visit her in the orphanage she would always want one of the toy’s that were on the roof.
Jasmine is in heaven now and we are here at her funeral. This is not the time for us to feel sad about her death but it’s our time to celebrate her life. Don’t ever forget Jasmine. She never wanted to see people cry. She wanted to make everyone smile. So at this moment when we are about to lay her body to rest, let’s all think back and remember how Jasmine touched our lives. How she made us laugh and how good she was. This is not the moment for us to shed our tears but we should all be thankful that we were given the chance to have known a young spirited person. We are so happy that she came in to our lives at the age of 2 when we had adopted. Even when she is up there her soul will still be with us.
